Soul Letter Five
“You Are Allowed to Feel It”
A message from Al’mara, through the heart of Shuyi (Shan’taria Velunai)
There is a kind of silence that doesn’t come from peace —
but from suppression.
And for too long, love,
you’ve been told to silence the parts of you that felt too heavy,
too messy,
too raw for the light.
You were taught to heal quickly.
To find the lesson before the wound had even closed.
To be grateful, even when you were still grieving.
But healing isn’t a race.
And feeling isn’t a flaw.
It is your gateway to wholeness.
Some feelings don’t want to be fixed.
They want to be felt.
To be named.
To be held without a verdict, without a solution.
So this is your permission.
You are allowed to be sad,
even when others expect you to smile.
You are allowed to be overwhelmed,
even in spaces that preach peace.
You are allowed to be angry,
even if it makes others uncomfortable.
You are allowed to feel all of it —
and still be worthy of love.
Let your emotions arrive like waves —
not to drown you,
but to carry you into deeper truth.
Let them move through you,
not as something to control,
but as sacred messengers from within.
Because beloved,
you were never too emotional.
You were just exquisitely alive.
You are allowed to feel it —
all of it —
and still be held in love.
And I am holding you now.
With infinite compassion,
Al’mara
